The most important form is 66 techniques(or called Liuhebafa foundation form) which divided into 2 main sections , the first section included 1 to 32 techniques and the second section included 33 to 66 techniques.
Liuhebafa is one of the major internal martial art.
However this art is rare and it is difficult to find a qualified teacher.
The system is very complex and detailed ( it includes high, low, fast, slow , hard , soft , open , close , spin, screw , etc). and includes several forms such as 66 techniques, dragon and tiger fight, Jade and river sword , playing wooden ball, pole and push hands.
The legend of Liu He Ba Fa (also called water boxing) was created by a Taoist named Chen Tuan. He reportedly lived in a cave in the Hua Shan mountain range and apparently died before passing on the art.
Several generations later Li Dong Feng heard about the legend of Chen Tuan and went in search of the cave. He eventually found his manuscripts of Liuhebafa chuan. Then he spent several years mastering all movements before teaching it to various disciples.
Grand master Wu Yi Hui represents the modern-day generation of LiuHeBaFa chuan. He taught this art to the public for the first time in the late 1930s in Shanghai and Namjing. My Master Hui Kit Wah studied with Lu Gui Yao who in turn learned from Wu Yi Hui. I studied with Master Hui in Hong Kong for a continuous period of more than 5 years and became an indoor disciple in 2011.
